GENERAL
Where do I find the QR codes and links?
Customers can find QR codes on in-store displays of participating products. Links can also be found on social media, retailer specific vehicles and more.
How do I scan the QR codes?
iPhone - The codes can be scanned by opening the camera app and selecting the rear facing camera. Hold your device so that the QR code appears in the camera viewfinder. Once the device recognizes the QR code, tap on the notification to launch the experience.
Android - Open Google Lens and point the camera at the QR code. Tap the magnifying glass icon to scan the QR code and tap the pop-up notification that appears once the QR code is recognized.
Alternatively, you can download or use a QR code reader app if your device camera does not have the QR reader function.

How do I take a selfie?
- Tap the "Take a Picture" button to launch the photo feature.
- Press the circle button to take your photo and the following options will appear:
- Save Photo - Press SAVE and download the photo to your files and upload to a social media platform or share with friends.
- Share Photo (Apple devices with IOS 15 or higher and Android devices) - Press the share button and choose your social platform of choice.
- Use the hashtag #KingsHawaiianShowdown to share with a larger audience!
- Please note the Social Media account needs to be public to be verified.
- At the end of the game, you can return to the Recipes page (via the Back to Recipes button) OR return home to the main hub.
After I take a selfie, how do I save and share photos using my iPhone?
Once you have taken a picture, press SHARE.
- To share on a social media platform, select your photo and tap the share icon on the bottom left to display the available apps.
- Use the hashtag #KingsHawaiianShowdown to share with a larger audience!
What are the Photo Filter requirements to earn Sweepstakes entries?
To receive a Sweepstakes entry your photo must include at least one of the following
- Be relevant to the program
- Include your favorite KING'S HAWAIIAN® recipes
- Have a football theme
If your photo does not meet the requirements above or has been previously submitted a Sweepstakes entry will not be awarded. You may submit a
NEW photo at any time for another chance to receive an entry.
What are the Proof of Purchase requirements to earn Sweepstakes entries?
To receive a Sweepstakes entry for your proof of purchase it must meet the following
- Make sure the KING'S HAWAIIAN® UPC is clear and visible
- Make sure the store name is included, clear and visible
- Make sure the date of purchase is included, clear and visible
- Make sure your receipt was not previously submitted
If your proof of purchase was not approved you may resubmit if the above criteria is met.
How do I play Flick Football?
- Tap on the Game Zone hotspot and select Football Flick.
- You will be given a brief tutorial on how to play.
- As you play and earn points, the game will get harder and harder. It will add defense elements.
- You will get your entry point at the start of the game.
- The number of points during the game does not influence the number of entries.
- You will only be awarded 1 entry point per game per day. If you play the game multiple times in one day you will only be awarded 1 entry point.
- Your in-game score does not determine the number of Sweepstakes entries earned.
How do I play Wordler?
- Tap on the Game Zone hotspot and select Wordler.
- You can start the game by clicking the play button or see the instructions by clicking the question mark.
- You will have six opportunities to guess the word or click give up and get a new word.
- You will get your entry point at the start of the game.
- The number of points during the game does not influence the number of entires.
- Your in-game score does not determine the number of Sweepstakes entries earned.
Is there a limit on how many Sweepstakes entries I can acquire?
Yes, there is a limit of 1,777 Sweepstakes entires per person/per Sweepstakes account for the length of the campaign.
How do I check on how many Sweepstakes entries I have earned?
Visit the "Scoreboard" on the stadium.
If I beat my score on a game, am I entitled to more Sweepstakes entries?
No, only 1 Sweepstakes entry will be awarded per game per day

What phones are compatible?
- Most phones are compatible, including iPhones and Android smartphones and tablets.
- Older phone models, such as iPhone 8 and earlier, and older operating systems may experience performance issues.
Why can't I share a photo on IOS?
You may need to update your IOS to 15 or higher.
Do I need Wi-Fi to play this experience?
You will need a good Wi-Fi connection or 4G or greater mobile data. Message & data rates may apply.
Should I accept camera & motion permissions when prompted?
Yes! This is an important step as it enables you to take advantage of our Photo Frame for How You Slider Sunday.
Can I use multiple devices?
Yes! Your account is based off your email address. You can keep playing on your smart phone or your desktop.
How do I add a photo to my iPhone's photo app?
Once you have taken the photo, press SHARE. Next select SAVE IMAGE to put it into your photo library.
